Memberships

I am a current member of the Idaho Writers League, Coeur d’Alene Chapter. I have been a member since September, 2015, and elected as Secretary of the CdA Chapter in May, 2018. We meet twice a month to help each other improve our writing and to learn new skills. The evening meetings usually have a workshop or presenter. In the past, we have had presentations on how to self-publish, poetry, and networking. There is an annual conference and writing contest, as well.

I am current member of the Sisterhood of Avalon. I have been a member since April, 2010. The SoA is focused on reclaiming Celtic female traditions and inner healing. The Sisterhood provides opportunities for Sisters to gather in person and online. I am the content editor for the Tor Stone, the SoA’s online journal that chronicles the female path of personal growth and empowerment. I am also the Marketing Trustee and editor of The Barge, the SoA’s monthly e-newsletter.

I am a member of Young Living. I have been a member since April, 2014. Young Living is the world’s leader in essential oils, but they also have supplements, cleaning products, skin care, and more. As a member and distributor, I have been able to attend IWL conferences and SoA Intensives without affecting my family’s budget.

I am a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I have been a member since September, 2014. The NSLS is the nations largest leadership society and member selection is based on academic standing or leadership potential. Here I get to brag a little as I was selected to join because of my 4.0 GPA at Southern New Hampshire University. As a member of NSLS, I have access to exclusive events to elevate my success.

I have been a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society since March, 2015 due to my excellent academic record. Alpha Sigma Lambda’s aim is to recognize the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence while facing competing interests of home and work. As a member of ASL, I had scholarship opportunities to facilitate my college degree.
